“Uh, hi there. You’re Sam right?” Richard asked as he got closer, it sounded like the right age, from what Peter told him anyway. Of course there was that whole TRAP thing that was screaming in his head. It certainly wouldn’t be it first time.
Richard was on the guard, energy blasts at the ready, in case he had to fight his way out of this one. He didn’t want a repeat of the whole Skrull deal, and even though it was as unlikely for a Skrull to be so far out in deep space, it was just as unlikely for him to have been alive, so that was something.
“I’m Richard. You may have heard of me? I think, hopefully…” He wasn’t too sure… After all, did Worldmind even have contact with this Black Nova anyway. He hoped so, Worldmind would have at least mentioned his name to the new Nova.
“Yep. Sam I am…“
Sam backed up as the man came closer to him. As his eyes focused, he soon realized the man was wearing a costume much like his own. Actually, it was exactly like his own. He had to be a part of the Nova Force!

Sam stopped. Richard?
“—as in Richard Rider— gold helmet?”
Of course he had been told about him. Though, what he had been told was that he was dead. It couldn’t be the real Richard Rider.
"I thought you were dead?”
"Yeah, you have heard about me.” Richard sighed in relief, glad that the introducing part was skipped over. Of course he had to deal with the ‘are you the real Richard Rider’ questions next. You’d think he’ll be used to it by know.
“I though I was dead too.”
“But then some weird things happened, and I got blown back into this universe, three years later. It’s all very confusing.” Richard tried to explain, he didn’t even know the details, or the hows, the whys, the wheres, the whats, or the whens. Even after coming up with some ideas with Peter, they were still at a lost to this whole weird incident. Did that mean that the Cancerverse wasn’t truly destroyed? They wouldn’t know for sure. “You could scan me, you know, to see if I’m really him. Also do you have Worldmind with you now? I’ve been trying to contact her, no luck though.”
