If Adam couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the universe, and said thing was hiding from it. It could spell trouble indeed.
“Shattering doesn’t sound good…” A planet? A world? A civilisation? A star or galaxy? The Universe? “Maybe you could give Worldmind the parameters and the information and she can sift through it…” Richard asked Adam, after all he was the expert on such things.
“There are no parameters Richard. If I knew, I wouldn’t be so aimless.” Adam sighed irritably. He severely disliked not knowing what to do. He disliked it even more knowing he had to fix the problem but not what the problem was in the first place.
“It was recent. Strong enough to send shockwaves throughout the spacetime continuum, yet small enough to be overlooked.”
“Okay, so we have literally nothing on this, and if you’re confused and I’m confused… We’re basically screwed, and I don’t think we can wait for this, whatever it is.” Richard ruffled his own hair, unhappy at the situation they both found themselves in. The only thing that was concrete was the cosmic event happened recently (but with it being about time, that was just not reliable at all), and that something shattered. Great. Just great.
