Rocket and boredom don’t mix well. So, if Stark gets home and finds out Rocket’s rearranged his operating systems—A.I. not included, because Rocket’s not suicidal, and he’s not that much of a gronad—then it’s his own fault for leaving him alone to tower-sit.
He’s halfway through deciphering Tony’s chicken scratch for the program code of the day when Jarvis tells him there’s someone entering the tower.
His gun’s tucked in the waistband of his pants as he rises, waiting to greet the newcomer with either decent manners or a dead shot. Instead, he ends up stopping dead.

Richard figured he would visit Stark about the recent (or not so recent) coming and goings of Earth and current events. Tony was the most connected, apart from SHIELD, and Worldmind tend to drone on about her knowledge, so it would be a welcome change to listen to someone human.
Sure, he still haven’t forgotten that whole issue with the Civil War and his disagreement with Tony, but hey, amends had to start somewhere. Of course, as with Richard’s life, things were bound to screw up, but then again, he did survive.
Richard was informed when he got there that Tony was out and the Nova figured he’d wait for the billionaire. When he got to the living room however, he’d been greeted by someone who obviously was not Tony. From the way the man spoke, Richard knew he was at least not of Earth, but probably Space. Spartoi maybe? And what was he doing in Tony’s apartment?
